DAFAA Care, Safety & Usage Instructions

1. Product Use

• Intended for personal home use only.

• For external use only.

• Use only as intended.

• Do not modify, alter, or repair the product.

2. Before Each Use

Inspect the product before every use.

Do not use the product if:

• The fabric is torn, punctured, or excessively worn.

• The stitching has come loose.

• The filling is lacking.

• The pillow has become wet or damp.

• There are signs of scorching, charring, or discolouration.

• You notice a strong burnt colour.

• The product has been damaged or altered in any way.

If any of the above occurs, discontinue use immediately.

3. Heating Instructions

Follow the general rules below, then the steps for each product. Always heat only the inner grain-filled pillow.

4. DAFAA Neck and Body Pillow

• Remove the inner pillow from the outer cover before heating.

• Fold the inner pillow once in the centre, following its natural compartments, so it is comfortably inside the microwave.

• Do not tightly roll, compress, or force the pillow into the microwave.

• Place the folded pillow flat in the centre of a clean microwave with a rotating turntable.

• Ensure the pillow can rotate freely throughout the heating cycle.

• Microwave on 700-900W (Medium-High Power) for 2½–3½ minutes.

• Carefully unfold after heating and check that the warmth is evenly distributed.

• Insert the inner pillow back into the outer cover before use.

5. DAFAA Eye Pillow

• Remove the inner pillow from the outer cover before heating.

• Either place it flat or fold the inner pillow once in the centre, following its natural compartments, so it is comfortably inside the microwave.

• Do not tightly roll, compress, or force the pillow into the microwave.

• Place the folded pillow flat in the centre of a clean microwave with a rotating turntable.

• Ensure the pillow can rotate freely throughout the heating cycle.

• Microwave on 700-900W (Medium-High Power) for 1 minute.

• Carefully unfold after heating and check that the warmth is evenly distributed.

• Insert the inner pillow back into the outer cover before use.

7. Microwave Safety

• Microwave ovens vary in power and performance.

• Never exceed the recommended heating time.

• Never leave the microwave unattended while heating.

• Do not use Auto Cook, Sensor Cook, Popcorn, or similar automatic programmes.

• Never heat the pillow if it is wet or damp.

• Ensure the microwave turntable rotates freely during heating.

• Never heat more than one pillow at a time.

• Never heat the pillow while tightly rolled, compressed, tied, or secured.

• If the folded body pillow cannot rotate freely inside the microwave, do not heat it.

• If you notice smoke, charring, or a strong burning smell, stop heating immediately and discontinue use.

8. Cooling Use

DAFAA may also be enjoyed as a cooling pillow.

• Place the inner pillow inside a sealed plastic bag before placing it in the freezer.

• Freeze until the desired temperature is reached.

• Ensure the pillow remains completely dry.

• Remove any condensation before use.

9. Storage

• Allow the pillow to cool completely before storing.

• Store only when completely cool and dry.

• Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity.

• Do not use heavy objects on top of the pillow.

• Keep out of reach of children and pets when not in use.

• Never leave the microwave unattended while heating.

• If overheating occurs, switch off the microwave and allow the pillow to cool completely before handling.

• Do not continue using any pillow showing signs of scorching, charring, smoke, or a persistent burnt smell.

• Repeated overheating may increase the risk of fire.

14. Do Not

• Do not microwave the outer cover.

• Do not exceed the recommended heating time.

• Do not reheat while the pillow is still warm.

• Do not heat in a conventional oven, air fryer or toaster oven, on a stovetop or grill, or over an open flame.

• Do not boil the pillow.

• Do not use if damaged, leaking, wet, scorched, or excessively worn.

• Do not puncture, cut, or modify the pillow.

• Do not use while sleeping.

• Do not place under bedding, blankets, cushions, or any material that may trap heat.

• Do not use as a bed warmer.

• Do not allow pets to chew or damage the product.

• Do not store the pillow until it has completely cooled.

15. Safe Use

• Always test the temperature before applying the pillow.

• If the pillow feels excessively hot, allow it to cool before use.

• Avoid prolonged pressure by sitting or lying directly on a heated pillow.

• Discontinue use if the pillow becomes uncomfortable or causes skin irritation.

• Children, elderly persons and individuals with reduced sensitivity to heat or who may be unable to assess temperature safely should use the product only with appropriate supervision. Always test the temperature before application.

16. Natural Materials and Components

DAFAA is crafted using natural materials.

Materials & Composition

• Filling: Wheat, flaxseed and dried lavender

• Inner pillow: Natural cotton canvas

• Outer cover: Micro-flannel

• Eye Pillow filling weight: 300 g (±15 g)

• Neck & Body Pillow filling weight: 1,320 g (±40 g)

Because natural materials are used:

• Minor variations in colour, weight, aroma, and appearance are normal.

• A light toasted grain aroma during the first few uses is normal.

• The natural filling may gradually change with repeated heating over time.

• Do not use if you have a known allergy or sensitivity to wheat, flaxseed or lavender.

17. Product Life

Product lifespan varies depending on frequency of use, heating practices, storage and care. Always inspect the inner pillow before each use.

Discontinue use immediately and replace the product if:

• The fabric is torn, punctured, excessively worn or otherwise damaged.

• The stitching becomes loose or fails.

• The filling begins to leak.

• Burn marks, scorching or charring appear.

• A persistent burnt odour or unusual discolouration develops.

• The pillow has become wet or damp.

• The product has been overheated or otherwise damaged.

• The product no longer performs as intended.

Do not continue to use a product showing any of the above signs, regardless of its age.
